#6 Removing a Colon Polyp And
Preventing Another Colon Cancer

Colon polyps grow over time and the risk of cancer is greater as the polyp gets larger. Most colon polyps grow silently and very slowly. It may take up to 10 years to produce a full-blown malignancy. Unfortunately, during that time are usually no "early warning symptoms." By the time, there are symptoms (rectal bleeding, persistent change in bowl habit, abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss, anemia), it may already be too late.
